This “Rather have the party at our place” Campaign was nerve-wracking as we weren’t entirely sure how the children were going to react. Fortunately they reacted the way we wanted them to…the way every parent doesn’t want them to.

The kid characters in the radio campaign are based on adults in my life e.g. “Theodore” is my uncle… a Doctor with “an insatiable thirst for knowledge”.

The campaign won local and international awards and is used as an example of McDonald’s “best-practice” internationally.
